2008 Floral Symposium & Festival benefiting the Dallas Museum of Art

Art in Bloom is the Dallas Museum of Art League’s annual symposium and luncheon that raises money for the League Floral Endowment and other Museum beautification projects.

The Dallas Museum of Art League enthusiastically announces that Bunny Williams, the renowned New York designer and author, will be our guest at the Art in Bloom lecture and luncheon on March 31, 2008. As the owner of Treillage, a legendary garden design shop in New York City, Ms. Williams will inspire us with her approach to using floral and botanical elements to successfully blend the interior and exterior spaces in which we live.

Ms. Williams’s literary accomplishments include her highly acclaimed book An Affair of the House, which focuses on her Connecticut home and garden and has been a best seller. Her current release, Point of View, which provides an overview of three decades of decorating elegant and comfortable houses, will be a gift to all Patron level participants and will also be available for purchase at the event.

Following the symposium lecture and during the seated luncheon in the Museum Atrium, Forty Five Ten will present the much anticipated spring collection of Peter Som, the new designer for Bill Blass.
