The Delights of Normandy
Presented in partnership with rise n° 1

Join the Dallas Museum of Art and rise n° 1, Dallas's own salon de soufflé , for a unique culinary experience that will explore the artistic and gastronomic traditions of Normandy. Led by Chef Richard Bertshi, the class will include demonstrations and a sampling menu of French cuisine, including rise n° 1's renowned soufflés.

Throughout the spring, join us for tours, talks, performances, film screenings, and special events celebrating The Lens of Impressionism  and illuminating the works of painters and photographers who were drawn to the striking Normandy coast in the second half of the 19th century.

Meet in the Center for Creative Connections

Join artists each month for art-inspired DIY projects. A new project every month. Drop-ins welcome. Pre-registration preferred; call 214-922-1311.


Late Night Workshop

Friday, March 19, 8:30–10:00 p.m.
C3 Theater, Late Night programs are included in general admission to the Museum

John Grandits will share insights into his creative process and information about the history of concrete poetry from A.D. 800 to the present (including one from Alice in Wonderland). Then you will write and design your own concrete poems inspired by works in the collections!

Tech Lab
In the Center for Creative Connections       

Q. What do you get when you cross art objects with technology? 
A. The Tech Lab is a space in the Center for Creative Connections at the Dallas Museum of Art where you can blog about, tag, and research objects in the Dallas Museum of Art’s collections. It is also a space where you can experiment with current technologies and create original work during special classes, workshops, and programs.

Tech Lab: Open Lab

Second Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Free
TEchXPERTS introduce you to new technology in drop-in, hands-on sessions.

Tech Lab Workshops
