Professional Members League

Throughout the year, the members of this group enjoy participating together as volunteers for various Museum events and enjoy special art education programs.

Throughout the year, encore! members receive advanced notice and reserved seating at various museum events and discounts on events in the community. Come meet other members at encore! exclusive receptions offered throughout the year.

Kids Club

Kids Club is a partnership between the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Zoo, the Museum of Nature and Science, the Dallas Children’s Theater, the Trinity River Audubon Center, and our newest member, the Dallas Arboretum. By joining Kids Club at any of these organizations, your family receives special benefits from all six organizations.
 
Each of the Kids Club partners offers a membership with family-oriented benefits. When you join the Kids Club at the Dallas Museum of Art, your family will receive the full benefits of a Museum membership PLUS fun benefits exclusive to Kids Club members, including:

• Invitations to six member-only events a year (one at each location)
• Advance notice of Dallas Museum of Art Family Celebrations and Late Nights
• Discounted admission privileges at the member facilities ranging from $1 to $2.50 off general admission tickets.

Friends of Fine and Decorative Art 


From the Renaissance through the early 20th century, European and American masters dominated the Western European art world. Skilled in the realist traditions of European art academies or trained in noble craft traditions like silversmithing and furniture making, these artists furnished the royal courts and great houses of their day. Through lectures, and tours, curators of European and American painting, sculpture, and decorative art will lead this group in its exploration of exceptional works of art ranging from old masters to impressionist painting and from colonial American furniture to arts & crafts silver.

Friends of Modern and Contemporary Art 


During the last one hundred years, artistic revolutions shocked the world. From Frank Lloyd Wright to Jackson Pollock to Wolfgang Laib, the art of our time has broken barriers and pushed us in new directions. The Friends of Modern and Contemporary Art strive to keep abreast of what’s new and interesting in the art world while seeking to learn more about earlier modern art movements that form the foundations of today’s trends. Lectures, artist visits, and interaction with curators of contemporary art, early modern art, and design will all be available to these modern-minded members.

Friends of World Art and Archaeology 


Art is produced by all people. Through the ages, civilizations around the globe have painted extraordinary ceramics, erected beautiful buildings, woven intricate textiles, and painted striking pictures. From ancient Greece and China to modern Europe and America, art has had a central role in life. The Friends of World Art and Archaeology explore diverse artistic traditions of different cultures. Through lectures and tours, members will have the opportunity to explore the global nature of the Dallas Museum of Art’s collections, learn more about a wide range of art, meet other interested individuals like themselves, and become acquainted with the Museum’s curators.
