Please contact the Museum if you have any questions regarding an upcoming trip to the Museum. If you are coming to see a certain artwork or gallery space, it is always a good idea to check to make sure that artwork or gallery is on view. Dallas Museum of Art Main Phone Numbers Map and Directions to the MuseumPlease note: Construction of The Park, a five-acre public green space that will deck over the existing Woodall Rodgers Freeway, has necessitated street closures around the DMA. Directions for leaving the Museum Hours and AdmissionHoursTuesday and Wednesday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Closed Mondays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day General Admission: $10 or less every dayThe general admission fee includes viewing the Museum’s permanent collection and most exhibitions. An audio tour of the permanent collection is included in general admission. Audio tours for adults and families are available. DMA members FREE * with current ID FREE First Tuesday of each month (Special ticket prices may apply to exhibitions) Discounts are available for groups of ten or more. Combination Tickets with the Nasher Sculpture CenterDiscounted joint tickets are available to purchase at Visitor Services that include admission to the Nasher Sculpture Center. Adults $16 (save $4) * with current school ID ParkingCar ParkingUnderground parking is available at the Museum’s 400-space garage on a first-come, first-served basis for a flat fee of $10, payable at time of entry. Cash and major credit cards are accepted. Garage parking for DMA and Nasher Sculpture Center members is free, pending availability. In the event that the Museum garage may be full, please review the map of nearby surface lots and garages that have reserved parking for Museum visitors. In addition to these locations, other parking exists throughout the downtown area. After 5:00 p.m. and on weekends, parking can readily be found around the Museum in the Arts District. The Trammell Crow Center, for example, has a garage with ample parking. The garage can be accessed from both Harwood and Olive Street. DART to the ArtThe Museum encourages visitors to use Dallas's DART rail system. Parking is available at any of DART's outlying lots, and visitors can ride the DART train to the St. Paul Station and walk north to the Museum's Ross Avenue entrance. Click here to plan your visit to the Museum using DART. ATMThe Museum has an ATM on-site on Level 1 (user fee $2.50 per transaction). Shopping & DiningFor your convenience and enjoyment, the Museum Store offers books and catalogues, stationery and print products, gifts, jewelry, and other wonderful items inspired by the Museum’s collections. The Museum has two on-site restaurants, Seventeen Seventeen Restaurant, for a sophisticated dining experience, and the Atrium Cafe, offering more casual dining. For more details, click here. Accommodations There are a variety of hotel accommodations in the downtown Dallas Arts District. Many are within walking distance of the Dallas Museum of Art or offer shuttle transportation to and from the Museum. Many hotels offer museum rates. When you book your room, ask if they offer a museum or Arts District discount. ToursPrivate guided tours are available at $30 per group of 15. School tours are also available.
