ArtFind

December 7–13

Join us as we introduce a new holiday tradition in the Dallas Museum of Art’s Museum Store: Art/Find, the Dallas Museum of Art Estate Sale. It will launch with a private shopping event for only DMA  members, on Monday, December 7, the first day of the sale. That day, and all week long, members will enjoy a 20% discount on all estate sale purchases as well as on all non-sale items in the Museum Store.

We need your treasures. Please contact Janet Stieve in the Museum Store to see how you can participate.

The Estate Sale Committee is interested in items typical of estate sales. These include:

  • Home decorative objects such as vases, ceramics, and glass
  • Lamps, rugs, and textiles
  • Porcelain, china, crystal, and other collectible housewares
  • Books and pamphlets
  • Vintage personal accessories and costume jewelry
  • Furniture of a manageable scale

Please don’t hesitate to get involved with what is likely to become our most treasured annual event! See what eclectic and unusual treasures the DMA’s friends bring to the sale. What will our many world travelers, seasoned collectors, and fun personalities donate from their personal collections? Now, those items can be yours and the proceeds will benefit the Museum.
