Join world-renowned tea authority Bruce Richardson for afternoon tea at the Dallas Museum of Art’s Seventeen Seventeen Restaurant in partnership with The Cultured Cup. Mr. Richardson will share highlights about his new edition of The Great Tea Rooms of America.  He is also the author of The Great Tea Rooms of Britain and co-author of The New Tea Companion with Jane Pettigrew, a book written for The National Trust of England.

In the latest edition of The Great Tea Rooms of America, Dallas’s own The Cultured Cup has been named one of the top seven tea shops in America.

Seventeen Seventeen’s Executive Chef Jason Ferraro has worked exclusively with The Cultured Cup to craft an afternoon tea menu that pays tribute to the world’s great tea cultures.  Your afternoon tea will begin with a delicate tea-infused flute of sparkling wine followed by a three-course seated afternoon tea menu. During tea, Mr. Richardson will share tales about America’s best tea rooms and tea shops as well as highlights from his new book, The Great Tea Rooms of America.  Following tea, Mr. Richardson will be available at the Museum Store to sign his latest book. The Great Tea Rooms of America will be available for purchase at the Museum Store.
