Curatorial HighlightNinety-nine-year-old artist Dorothy Austin, a member of the Texas Regionalist movement and closely associated with The Dallas Nine group of painters, printmakers, and sculptors who were active in the 1930s and early 1940s, visits the DMA with her family to view All the World’s a Stage. Her sculpture Slow Shuffle is featured in the exhibition on view through February 28. Another Austin work, Noggin, can be seen in the Level 4 galleries of American art. |
